Default home gym - step

Any suggestions for a step device for a home gym (for step ups, maybe read leg on BSS etc).

Idealling it would be adjustable so it was versatile and fairly sturdy. Being compact would be nice too.

I like the idea of the step and riser type setups but the less expensive ones seem cheap and the more expensive ones are expensive enough that I start to wonder if I would be better off just getting a few of the stackable red step things (not sure what they are called, most gyms have them).

Oh yeah, since I'm new here I'll let you know up front that I will not and should not try to build anything myself or do anything else that requires mechanical aptitude.

Any suggestions?

I use a dining room chair; it's kind of tall so I just use less weight. It works!

You could get a reebok aerobic step. They're pretty durable, but pricey. Otherwise, like Jane, I use my bench.
