New here, introduction
Hi,
My name is John. I'm engaged to DirtyMartini who has posted here for a short time, hence the similarity in username.
We are assembling a home gym that consists of:
exercise bike - already own
powerblocks (to 90lb) - already own
adjustable bench - already own
olympic weights - already own
power rack and high/low pully - on its way
I've been working out (HIIT on the bike and full body moderate rep workouts with dumbells) for a few weeks. I saw NROL and really liked it. I told my fiance about NROL4W and she picked it up and has been doing the workouts.
I'm going to switch my workouts to NROL break-in as soon as the power rack gets assembled. That timing will also be convenient because I have a seminar for work at the end of March and I'll be able to take my break after the break-in program that week.
My goal is fat loss and I haven't lifted seriously (ie squats, deads or heavy benches) in about 8 years.
I plan to start a workout log here when I begin the NROL programs. According to my tanita bodyfat scale I have lost 12 lbs of fat and gained 3 lbs of lean mass in the four weeks ending last Thursday. I'm going to get some calipers and measuring tape to keep better records of my progress while doing NROL.
