I'm about to finish with Fat Loss III. I'm in the 5th week now. It's the most brutal workout I've ever done. After having done H1 and S1, the high reps are torturous.

But I'm almost done with it, so after my week off I'd like to continue on with the fat loss. My question is, should I loop back to FL1 & 2 or do something else for a few weeks?

So far I've done FL1-->FL2-->H1-->S1-->FL3

It kinda seems like it hasn't been long enough to go back to FL1&2. I'd like to save S2-3 and H2-3 for the intended purposes of them.

Any suggestions?

It's up to you. They're modular. I'd pick FL2 because you've just been doing those 20-rep circuits. FL1 has 15's. I'd do FL2 because of the more moderate rep ranges. I'd hope you could handle heavier loads for those rep ranges this time around, so the program would continue to be very effective. If there are any exercises you just really don't want to go back to, then make a couple of comparable (or tougher) choices, just for the sake of variety.

The other option, of course, is to choose another fat loss program you have not done before. Alwyn's published several at T-Nation or, and I'm serious about this, you could do the Stage 2 workout from NR4W. That's an awesome looking program with a bunch of combo moves (Alwyn's favorite stuff!).

Whatever you choose, you should feel motivated to complete it. No program will work if you are not consistent in its execution. So find something that looks interesting and exciting to you. If NROL FL2 just doesn't get you excited, then choose something else.

I think I've got a couple of programs bookmarked from T-Nation articles. I'll go back and read through them again.

I've considered getting NR4W and doing it myself (hopefully my boy parts wouldn't get in the way). Why do you just suggest stage 2? I assume it would be similar to NROL in that you can make your own order, or am I making a bad assumption?

my opinion only (Note: I'm the other Lisa, not Lisa~)

NROL4W is a 6 (or so) month program that is structured as a sequence of stages (1-7) designed to be done in order as each builds and progresses from the last - it isn't written as a mix and match like NROL.

That said - stage 1 is similar to BI or FLx in that it is 16 workouts and starts with high rep sets. Since you've just been doing similar ... you might like to start in stage 2 and continue from there. (And your boy-parts should be safe)
