Default Hypertrophy ?

I've been a selfish lurker for awhile now, love this forum, LOVE NROL!! I've started Hypertrophy this week (finished Fatloss I, II, III). I am a bit frustrated with workout A set up . . . squat/deadlift shrug. I know it's a superset but still doesn't that involve putting on and taking off weights every set? I seem to spend my entire 90 second rest racking the weights as my gym only has one squat rack. Got some ideas?

Toni

can you just use a 2nd bar for the DL and leave it set up?

The squat and deadlift w/shrug in H1 workout B are not a superset. They are straight sets. Look again. It's different from the other workouts. There's no gray line with the words "Superset with full rest."

And welcome to the forum!

The same question was addressed in this thread too.

hmmmm must have missed that . . . so used to supersets in fat loss.

so to clarify:
4 sets of 10 reps of squats then 4 sets of 10 reps of deadlift shrugs?

thanx mucho -- Toni

Everyone is so used to Alwyn's sadistic workouts making us hurt that even when they aren't that bad people subconsciously make them worse

I think back about my moans of self pity with break in and then through each fat loss program . . . I'm getting used to the idea of being tortured and dare I say I even like it? I'll make sure to read the 'fine print' and not make any changes from markydesade's grand plan :-)

Heh yeah - I did read the fine print before I started Hypertrophy I, and those things were tough enough as straight sets. Still, you've made it through Fat Loss I, II and III (! for III) so you're pretty used to the torment. lol
