Wink Week off between programs

I was wondering why I feel so guilty taking a WHOLE WEEK OFF after completing NROL Break In? I guess I am not used to taking that much time off from exercise/weights.

How does this affect me going forward into the FL1 program? Has anyone felt this way?

Also, what is the logic of resting for a week? Is there a mental aspect? I.e., to avoid burnout? or a reward of sorts? Or is it so my muscles can jump into the next phase and start resuming their progress?

I have been watching my diet. Eating clean, etc. I have been doing well in that department.

Sorry to sound rambling, I am having a hard time expressing what I mean.

Thanks!
Deb

I felt the same way after completing the Break-In. That soon changed after completing each of the Fat Loss programs. At the end of Fat Loss III I was anticipating and welcoming the break lol. It's just a chance for your body to fully repair itself in preparation for the next program you'll do.

I just started NROL. I am planning on still doing Cardio during my week off. Has anyone else done this?

Lou has explained in the past the nerves and tendons, with a lesser blood supply, or other reasons, do not grow and adapt as fast a muscle. You risk injury without letting them catch up. And yes, you can do all sorts of exercises during your week off, BW, HIIT, just don't push yourself like you do during one of their workouts.
