Default Breathing and BSS w/OHP

So I am doing Fat Loss II, and am having trouble timing my breathing with the BSS w/ohp.

I started breathing in as I go down, but then found I breath out with the press and then breath and go up out of the squat. It works, but seems awkward, not to mention the exercise itself is rather tiring....

What do you do?

What you're doing sound right in that it matches the general rule to exhale after exertion. What's more important is to stay braced during movement. Holding your breath during the difficult part of a lift assists bracing. During a compound movement like this one you're going to have to do some breathing while you're still braced. As long as you stay tight and braced you can breathe whenever it feels natural to you.
