Default time between weight training sessions

I am currently doing FLI at the moment and I contemplating doing 4 weight training sessions a week. I lift on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6am to 7am and was wondering about adding another session on Saturday at 8pm.

With the emphasis on recovery, would 37 hours between weight training sessions be enough? I was wondering about doing different total body exercises following the sets/reps/tempo principles of my programs on Mon, Wed and Fri.

As long as I get enough sleep, eat clean and the muscle soreness is tolerable I think my fat butt should be able to handle the work.

What do people think?

Isn't there even a recommendation for a 4-day week in there? like MT ThF?

so what you have sounds like that but more stretched out.

Give it a try and if it's too much, your body will tell you.

I looked at FL1 and it says
Quote:
Do each of the two workouts six time, alternating between them. You can do two, three, or even four workouts a week. The only rule: Never train more than two days in a row.
So you could do the workout you describe.

Oops - didn't read the book as well as I thought. Thanks for pointing that out.
