Default NROL during periods

OK. My girlfriend asked me about this but I did not know the answer.

Should women continue with their NROL program during their periods? Usually, NROL modules permit one week of gap after 6-9 weeks. How should it be modified for women? If they have to take manadatory one week off after every four weeks, does it affect the rest of the program?

No reason that I know of to take that week off. Just keep going.
[aside:Some women find that their strength will vary depending on hormone levels fluctuating throughout the month. Some even try to schedule different workout schemes around their hormonally stronger and less strong days. ]

But that is a really different issue than the one you bring up. I don't know anyone who stops for a week just because she gets her period.

I second what LisaS already said. Just keep forging ahead. Sometimes a woman might have cramps or pain that might postpone a particular day's workout for a day, but keep up the overall schedule. You don't have to take a break if you feel good enough to lift.

Agreed. Unless she has really bad cramps, etc. there's no reason not to lift. I've found times where I actually feel better after lifting during this time.
