Ouch!! What was that popping????
I'm in my third week of FL3, and I'm really starting to get into the groove with it. It's amazing how the body adapts.
Yesterday, I was doing the walking lunge with side bend. Halfway through the first set, I lunged with my right leg, bent to the right and felt a distinct popping at the very front of hip on the left leg. It felt like 3 guitar strings snapping in unison. It scared the crap out of me, and I abandoned that portion of the workout and took inventory for a few minutes. It felt a bit sore but was otherwise unremarkable. I went home and took a nice hot tub later that night. Today, it's still a bit sore in that area, especially when seated for awhile, but it's not giving me too much trouble. When I get up and walk around it's fine.
There are some damn smart people on here. Have any of you experienced this or had a client who has? Did I strain a hip flexor? If so, should I cool it for awhile? Either way, I'm definitely reviewing my warm up routine.
