Default Recovery

So, the recovery phase of a program is very important, I know. But how do you fit that into an active lifestlye? Do you not achieve a decent recovery if you use the muscles regularly that you are working out?

How active are you talking about? Do you climb mountains on your non-lifting days?

Yes. I climb entire mountains on my off days :-p I just cycle often. I'm almost always sore. My post seems kind of silly now that I re-read it. I mean, no point in lifting if it prevents you from doing the things you want to be active doing.

For some of us lifting is a main point of our heavy activity. You may want your lifting to enable and improve your other activities. Maybe you need to get a trainer who can give some guidance.

Consider addressing soreness, I think most people on this site would say that you should not be sore all of the time.
