Default Fat Loss phase 1

I recently bought "The New Rules of Lifting" and I'm a little confused about a few things.

I want to start out w/ fat loss. I will be able to workout 4 times a week. So here are my questions:

1. Do I do all 4 workouts, week one from workout "A"? Then the next week, do all 4 workouts from workout "b"?

2. How many days a week should I do cardio?

***Sorry, I'm a newbie to Alwyn and Lou. I was recommended this book and I really enjoy it thus far. I just want to make sure I am understanding the workouts properly.

Today I completed my 2nd day of the break-in program.... I am so freaking sore!!! Part of the reason... I have not been able to work out for 3 weeks due to a surgery. I am now permitted to workout at 50%, but I know I'm lifting more... about 80% of what I normally lift.

Next week I will be permitted to workout at 100%... which I look forward to!

Rob's right. Overdoing it may end up prolonging your recovery from surgery. I pushed myself when I shouldn't have and ended up creating some complications.

If you're limited to 50%, stick with 50%. You'll be able to up the weight later and you'll make great progress.
