Default Baby's Here - Sleep Deprivation Workouts

So, my wife gave birth to 8lb 9oz Zephan Daniel Hunter on Sunday morning.
I got my last pre-break workout in on Saturday so tomorrow I should be back at it a bit.
I plan on doing Alwyn's "Minimal Time, Maximal Workouts" (see t-nation) for a couple weeks until we can get a schedule. Does anyone have advice about working out under sleep deprivation?
peace,
Matt

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Oh man you are deluding yourself. If you have time to go to the gym you should use that time for sleeping.

héhé ! Congrats to both your wife and you.

Remember that when you're tired you can get hurt more easily and otherwise, well good luck in the juggling act of taking care of the little one while not forgeting yourself.

Who said anything about "going to the gym"? I work out in my basement.

Sleep whenever you can ... and if you wake up before the baby, then workout!!
Seriously, you might have to let it slide for a few weeks but when the baby is sleeping better, you'll be able to get back to it ...
Also get used to interruped workouts ... you might not get the same effect as if your workout were interrupted, but it is better than not doing it at all!

Here's an idea too ...

That's a great cartoon. Stole it and reposted it immediately in a new mom's log who is getting back to lifting! She'll be LHAO!

Our 1st baby is due in June, so I don't have any advice for you. So, I will just offer my congratulations to you, Matt. Have fun!

Thanks all! Right now I am doing Alwyn's Minimal Time Maximal Workout Routines and finding them plenty challenging. I'm hoping to move into a 2-3 times a weel HT 2 in a couple weeks.
I encourage anybody in my situation to checkout the link below from Ross Enamait. The guy is a hardcore trainer.
