Default FL1 Rotational Lunge

Are these 3x15 on each leg or 15 total lunges, right leg is 1, then left leg is 2, etc...

15 on each leg. This about it. If right leg is 1 and left leg is 2 and you do a total of 15, you'd have done a differing amount for each leg!

I think this is not correct.

On page 185, while describing lunge with side twist, author says that one leg bend counts as one lunge. He further clarifies that 20 rep means 10 on one leg and 10 on others. So, it is clear what author means.

However, it leaves me puzzled what to do with 15 reps?

Author admitted he made a mistake. It is always full number of reps on EACH side. Sorry. HaHa. (I know, I kinda died on some of those single leg ones too)

I figured the instructions were right but the workouts wrong, and did 8/leg.

Had to cut that WAY down when I heard differently.

I'm preparing for future workouts and saw sets of 20 reps and then was surprised to only see 10 reps for each legs in some program..whoah.. you guys are getting off the hook a bit easy!

This morning in my HTII workout I did the superset of 2x25 dynamic lunges and step-ups with 30 seconds rest. The last 10 reps of step-ups on each leg was body weight only, and I had to pause about 2 seconds between each one. My legs still hurt! The good news: next week is my last week of HTII and I don't have to do that again (well, except for the next killer routine he throws at us in Strength I. )

In S1 the dreaded bulgarian split-squat/step up superset rears its ugly head - 3x15 with no rest! And this after squating to your max. I think that Allwyn realized that I could still walk after the 6 sets of squats and added the BSS/SU to make sure I had to crawl to the back extention station. Seriously, it is down the stairs and I walk down holding on to the railing like I just had knee surgery.

I've got to go down stairs to the locker room as well - 2 flights - maybe I can get a key to the handicap accessible elevator....
