Default Replacement for Swiss Ball Crunch?

Can I replace Swiss ball crunch with another type of core exercise, maybe a full body type core exercise?

Any suggestions?

it's just that it's been in all the programs I've been using, and I just thought I'd add a bit more variety

Do a hanging leg raise.

Or do planks and side planks for time - stabilization instead of flexion.

if you do them Maximuscle have some great Ab slings on their site and they really allow you to focus in on working the abs rather than grip potentialy letting you down

Another good one is kneeling cable crunch as you get a great range of movement with that

I think I need to work on my stabilization more than anything else. So that's whaty I am gonna do

I use the swiss ball sometimes when I design exercise programs. I don't know what the big deal is...usually the people that knock it, are the ones that have a hard time performing any exercises on it.

True, but I don't think that was Jin's point ... he said that he's been using them a lot lately and just wants some variety ...
