Default Starting NROL - question about scheduled HIIT

All,

I've purchased and read the book cover to cover and am very excited to start with FL1. I have a question about scheduling HIIT along with the workouts. I plan on following the workouts as written, but my current workout looks something like this:

Day 1 - Full body A
Day 2 - HIIT ( swimming or running or biking )
Day 3 - active rest ( mobility, stretch)
Day 4 - Full Body B
Day 5 - HIIT ( swimming or running or biking )
Day 6 - rest ( mobility, stretch)
Day 7 - rest

My workouts are primarily variations on reps/sets of squats, deads, chins, rows, bench, with minimal overhead press as my left shoulder is a bit tweaky.

Can I do FL1 with the same type of schedule?

Day 1 - Workout A
Day 2 - HIIT
Day 3 - rest
Day 4 - Workout B
Day 5 - HIIT
Day 6 - rest

Thanks

Mac

I wouldn't recommend doing Fat Loss I just twice a week if you're already involved in a training program. I'd switch to a M-W-F lifting schedule -- A-B-A, B-A-B -- and then do your HIIT on T-Th or T-S, with your active rest/mobility sessions on whichever days they work best.

Like the Break-In Program, Fat Loss I isn't advanced enough for you to be able to see results while lifting just 2 x/week.
