Default Exercise Sub Suggestions? (Hyp 1)

Not having a cable station is leaving me with the need for a couple of suggestions for substitutions for the "cable-seated rows" and "wide grip lat pulldowns".

-For the wide grip lat pulldowns I'm planning on doing pullups, though for the higher rep sets I'll probably have to do negatives or try rigging up a band.

-Not sure what is best for the cable seated row. bent over rows? t-bar row with the v-handle? reverse pushups?

I do have a (somewhat heavy) pice of rubber tubing with handles on it I could use for some higher rep stuff, but it doesn't have enough resistance for the sets of 5 and 10.

I would do bent over rows or t-bar rows. The reverse pullups will be too close to chest level. Unless the "cable seated rows," suggested, are to the chest, that is.

I agree with LD. If the prescribed cable seated row is with a neutral grip, then I like the V-grip T-bar row. If the prescribed cable seated row is with a pronated grip, then I like the barbell row (or a T-bar row with a pronated grip if you have that set-up).

What about bench rows? Elevate the bench and lie down on your stomach. Use dumbbells to make it easier to avoid hitting the bench.
