Exclamation Starting Weights

Question. How do you know how much weight you should start with for each exercise in the Break In program? Let's assume I never lifted weights before and I am really out of shape.

Personally I would just take a week to feel things out some. Go through the excercises, get a feel for the weight and go over the motions. Your main priority should be to just get your form down, go really light to work on the form. Take some notes and don't treat it like a work out. Do a couple reps and re-read the form descriptions.

We've been lifting for years now and we still use our rest weeks in-between programs to go over the next workout and polish up our form/learn any new excercises in the next program.

Good advice Chris... when I first started lifting I had to take a week or so and try out different exercises to find a good starting weight...

BTW, I take it you are from St. Louis? How about those Cardinals???
