Question Workouts with no gym access...

My friend would like to buy the book and do the workouts but she works out at home... she doesn't have a lot of equipment and she doesn't have access to a gym... Would it be doable is her question?

I believe she has a bench and dumbbells... not sure what else... I know she doesn't have any cables or such... I am not even sure she has a barbell... I will check...

I guess it depends on a) which program and b) how strong she is ... if the dumb bells pose sufficient challenge for 12-15 reps or whatever, then go for it. And things can be modified - i.e. use DBs for deadlifts - if they are heavy enough.

Or if not, get heavier weights

While I go to a gym, for the time my wife does not want to. So we will start with a few dumb bells, a swiss ball, and a few of those rubber stretchers. I think they can be used for the various pulls. Let us know what your friend does, it might be helpful to us. Rob

Any program can be modified and done in a home gym, but maybe it would be simpler for her to just go with something like Craig Ballantyne's bodyweight manual.
