Default New to NROL but not lifting

Well I am wondering where I should start in NROL I am currently going to be finishing up Chad Waterbury's TBT (total body training) and have been lifting for the last 7 years pretty religiously.

I am looking to trim down my 197lb 5'7" frame 16% BF trying to get down to the low 180's should I start with fat loss I and work from there or should I mix and match changing up things after phases?

Thanks for any help in advance my wife and I are really looking forward to this program.

The book says, even advanced lifters should do the break-in for two week before going into the FL trinity.

If you're cutting, I'd say FL II & III, after a couple weeks of break-in (don't forget to take a week or two off from TBT before starting NROL), but that's just me thinking.

Mahler did the Fat Loss routines back to back and it worked great for him -- his bf% kept going down consistently throughout both phases. They are set up so that you can do them concurrently (I, II, III) and continue to reap benefits since the routines change so dramatically. I don't think your body will adapt to the workouts before they're over, but anything's possible.

I've done FL I and FLII and saw solid effects from both. It's been a while and now I'm starting Hypertrophy I since it fits my current goals.

Edit: yes, go ahead and do the break-in first, as well. It may look super-easy on paper, but give it a try and see what your body says.

You got that right. My mind said, "This looks easy". My body told my mind that it needs glasses!

I am gonna go with the 2 weeks of Break In workouts and then hit Fat Loss I II and III and see if I can get down to 12% BF. I dunno if my eating habits will allow that but hell I will shoot for it!

Go to Berardi's site and start reading all the nutrition articles if you haven't.

Also, as I told fin, it's a whole other world above 10 reps. Add to that supersetting or circuit training and hell has taken over.
