Default Fat Loss II, Dynamic Lunge

Hi all,
I'm not sure what the dynamic lunge movement is suppose to be like (p.124). The picture just looks like he's lunging back, but the description says to "lunge out and back". Also, are you suppose to do 12 reps per leg on this exercise or 12 total? Thanks,
Grad

It means to lunge forward and spring back to where you started, as opposed to a walking lunge...or stationary where you just go up and down in place.
