Default NROL & Core Performance

Would it be a bad idea to do NROL Hypertrophy 1 and on my off days do some exercises from Core Performance, to strengthen the core?

Is it something that some people do or just avoid core stuff on their off days so to not fry the body?

Thanks again all!

I've gone through the CP program once, and still work in some of the exercises regularly. I think you can try it and see how it goes. Worst case is that you'll find that you'll want an extra day of recovery at times. If so, take it. But offhand, it sounds OK.

Alwyn's routines do generally address core development pretty well, however. Any particular exercises/areas are you looking to do/address?

I would just take the pre-hab/flexability stuff from CP for your off days. Some foam roller action and the walking stretches. Like the lunge and rotate thing.

My program of active recovery on "Off Days" includes some core work, but you don't want to overload. If you are hitting NROL hard enough, you should need the rest.
