Default Outgrowing my Gym? (And a dumb newbie question)

I'm coming to the end of FL1 and I've hit a problem.

My corporate gym has dbs up to 50lb by the pair. A "real" club it out of the budget for now . .

So now that I'm repping, good form, good rest, with the biggest weights at my disposal, how do I make my squats and deads tougher? I'm pretty sure my last two workouts will be easier than intended.

My next sequence will be FL 2. I'm also wondering how to manage front squats with dbs instead of a BB. Just hold 'em against my shoulders? Atop my shoulders?

Finally, FL1 seems "shoulder push heavy"--db push press and incline press. What's the reasoning behind that? Or am I kinesthetically off?

Thanks

Think about it in planes. And balance the planes. Shoulder press is a vertical push. Lat pull down is vertical pull. Balanced out.

Incline press is a horizonal push, rows are horizontal pull. Balanced out.

Front squats with dbs should be fine rest them on the front of your shoulders if you can.

Not sure if this would be recommended by Alwyn but you could slow the eccentric phase (lowering) of your lifts down. This will add extra stress and will mean your weights should suffice.

Hmmmm . . . see, I see it as db Push Press (vertical) counter balanced by mixed-grip pulldowns.

But inclined db Press is at a fairly high angle (45) versus a very low angle for the cable rows.

But that's why I asked . . .
