Default replacement exercise for DL shrug

I am starting Hypertrophy 1. I will do half the program for a total of 12 workouts in 3 weeks. I would like to replace the DL shrug with another exercise. I could replace it with a conventional deadlift. What other exercise do you think would fit in there. Since there is a high pull in the program I don't want to have another pull exercise emphasizing my trap muscles
Thanks and have a great week!

If you just don't want to do the shrug I would just do a conventional dead lift.

Galya, are you telling us your neck is starting to disappear? Nice problem to have! I think most of the guys on the forum are officially jealous of your propensity to grow muscle even where you don't necessarily want it.

For a solution, sure, deadlifts without shrugs are fine.

That'll make it easier to recognize you. "Hey, that woman has no neck! Must be Galya!"
