Default Ab work

I just began Hypertrophy I and although the supersets do kill me, the ab work does not feel particularly challenging. Can I increase something ? Maybe do two different ab exercises each workout, constantly switching between the three recommended for this phase ?

Alwyn ? Lou ?

Thanks,
Rodrigo

Use weight for your swiss ball crunches. For the reverse crunches do them on an incline. Makes things much tougher.

What Josh said.

If three sets of 15 reps in each workout isn't challenging your ab muscles, some simple adjustments should do the trick.

Also, remember that every exercise is an ab exercise. Some, like crunches, work abs from the outside in. But Alwyn believes every exercise should work abs from the inside out. No matter what you do, you should be bracing your abs to form a protective belt for your spine.

Remember: Loose abs slip disks. Stay tight!
