Default Fat loss I - Fat loss III

I am in the midst of Fat Loss I and was wondering, when it is over can I go right to FL III?
Or is it better to do the second one and then number 3?

I wanted to go to FL III because the giant sets look so fun (for those of with a strange interpretation of the word "fun".)

Oh, and do you need to take time off from lifting between the phases??

You should follow the program like Lou and Alwyn have set it up. They set it up that way for a reason. If you feel worn down you may want to rest a week, but it should be fine to jump into Fat loss II.

Thanks -I wasn't sure if you were meant to do all in order or what ... suppose I wanted to do strength right after FL I, woudl that work? (I am only hypothesizing - I won't be doing that.)

well is your goal to lose fat? or put on muscle? You can only focus on one or the other at a given time.

Are you this impatient with everything?

There are different programs in the book, depending on your goals, where they are not followed in order. You need to figure out your goal and pick a progression that will help you get there. But you can mix the phases in line with that goal.

Have fun.

Not that i am impatient- I just think too much.
My goal is to look hot
i don't have that much fat to lose but I wouldn't mind being more cut up. I'm pretty lean already - upper body particularly. I want better-defined legs and abs. I have a huge issue with not getting visible abs. I have had as low as 3 mm skinfold on my abs without a lot of definition. They are so frigging flat. I feel like I am a big loser for not getting better cuts in them. I have definitely tried it all.

I don't think there is any magic to the order. If you look at how they describe the periodization for different types of lifters, the programs jump all over depending on goals. If you feel as if you want to jump from I to III or from Fat Loss I to Strength II (for example), do it. IMO, they have given you the tools. It is up to you to take those tools and customize them to your needs as you see fit.

Not sure I totaly agree with Mav0512. The program is written so that with each pahse in the Fat loss the intesity increases due to shorter rest periods so I think it would be wise to complete as written. If you are a
seasoned lifter and have a good capacity to recover you may be able start with phase II and then do III I would not jump from I to III ..
