Default Fat Loss II, First Day on the Job!

Let the festivities begin!

Today marks the beginning of week five for me, and NROL. The break-in workout was a real ass-kicker, but after today I am very happy I followed through with it. I found myself to be closest to lifter number four and decided to follow that program, with that said - today was workout A of Fat Loss II.

I am just over 5”11 with my shoes on, so the squat rack isn’t very forgiving when loading weight for front squats. I overcame this dilemma by using my tiptoes, I would have went for the lower forks but they are almost to low. Since this was my first time working the program I went with an easy 95lbs, and the bruises on my shoulders say it’s a damn good thing. I know I can take more than this, but I probably wouldn’t have made it through the rest of the workout. I found it somewhat difficult when trying to do supersets between front squats and cable rows, however the other exercises went together pretty easy being that I could take the Swiss Ball so nobody steels it.

The Push Press and Back Extension went great, and really had the sweat rolling. When I came to the last superset between the Russian Twist and Lunge, I found the Russian Twist to be somewhat of a relief, it felt good on my hard worked back muscles, well until now, I’m in a whole world of pain!

Today was workout B, and I had a very hard time with it. This is going to take some work.
