Default Break-In Wkt B - Substitute for close-grip lat pulldown

I'm planning to do the break-in at home instead of going to the gym. At home I don't have a Lat Pulldown machine or a chin-up bar.

Could I substitute the Two-point dumbbell row, or is that too similar to the Workout A Two-point dumbbell row with elbow out?

If that is too close, any other dumbbell alternatives?

Thanks,

John

I would do a dumbbell pullover instead of the lat pulldown. You can use two hands on one dumbbell, or hold a DB in each hand.

The transfer isn't perfect, since you're hitting chest and triceps a bit harder than you would on a pulldown, and since the action in the muscles that work your shoulder blades is very different in the two exercises.

But a pullover does hit the lats, and it avoid the redundancy of doing rows in consecutive workouts.
