I did two last year and plan on one in September. One of them was an Xterra (off-road) so the biking is mountain biking and the running is all on trail. Way cool!

This is me heading into the run:

Nice. I'm going to try a trail tri next summer I think. There are some good ones in Vail and Breck. They look tough, did you do pretty well?

And this year, I have one at the end of August, and then 3 this winter in Australia (summer there ).

I was middle of the pack somewhere. That race was part of the same race that the mountain bike race JP did last week. I was actually in about the best shape of my life. Within about a three month time I did a 100 mile mountain bike race, a sprint adventure race (odbsgirl's first), the Xterra, a canoe race (in which I beat JP by 20 seconds), a 100 mile adventure race with silly and a sprint tri. I had not been working for about 5 months and had lots of time to train. This summer is a different story.

I know tri's are big time in Australia. That's going to be sweet.

Wow man. You were out of control for a while there. That's the best feeling though. I know the feeling with work and training. I find it hard to get all the training in that I want to without neglecting other areas of my life.

I'm trying to nail down my schedule down there. Having a bit of trouble finding a good schedule. It's alright, I'm excited. I should take the ideas from that video, but have someone chase me with a mechanical great white shark. That would give me the true Aussie feel.
