Fishr's story has gotten me intrigued. since we sport the same incredible physique I wanna try a tri too.
there is a couple great local ones here. but I a year out cuz I need a bike and running the base-pads is little different than a 5 or 10k run.

Seriously, feel free to start posting questions and I'll give you my experiences. I am already gearing up for another in August.
I got a lot of help at beginnertriathlete.co, though they can be brusque at times. One of the reasons I love THIS place...great advice from people who still know what it is like not to know stuff.....

Cool, thanks for the offer. I wanted my wife to train with me but with her allegies she can't do any distance running..her lungs have to much scar tissue from her youth...so she'll have to be my Coach and kick my azz when I slack...she'll enjoy that

Lisa has the bug now too. We went for a road ride yesterday and halfway through she said next time she wanted to do a run-bike-run. She likes bricks. Good thing I'm thick as one...

Okay Fish, I bought some good shoes with better motion control to help my tired old knees, I started Craig's TT for Women today, and I've committed myself to hitting the pool, in fact I'm going Thursday morning. I'm going to attempt the CATS sprint Tri in September. There you have it, it's in writing.

She'll probably finish fast enough that she can still cheer for me when I'm coming in!

I going in to get galvanized next week. I'd better have the wife do the under-coating or I will need the doghouse back from ODB.
