NBC Jeep World of Adventure Sports Airs New Episode August 7
PORTLAND, ME - July 26, 2004 - NBC's Jeep World of Adventure Sports, a new action-adventure sports series, will air its third episode on Saturday, August 7 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Hosted by Pat Parnell of NBC Sports, program segments include:

The Teva Mountain Games hit Vail with Colorado's mountains and rivers as the arena for outdoor multi-sport competitions including the event's flagship event, extreme kayaking. Viewers will meet South Africa's Steve Fisher and witness his attempt to out-paddle the competition for the championship.

The second leg of the Raid 2004 race series goes to Bend, Oregon where racers test their limits in human endurance as they spend over 24-hours navigating through towering pine forests, rock canyons and the Cascade Mountains.

Freestyle motocross action hits Camp Jeep as contestants go airborne in the best trick competition.

Get onboard some of the biggest, fastest offshore powerboats in the world with Team Bacardi Silver and the SBI Series, where boats measure upwards of 50 feet, include F-16 jet canopies, and travel at record-breaking speeds of close to 200 mph.

Motocross riders duke it out for the coveted title of King of the Hill in Morgan, Utah at the Widowmaker Hill Climb---held on a 1,000-foot hill with a vertical rise of 560 feet and angles reaching 59 degrees.

An insider's look at the everyday heroes of the Mountain Rescue team who respond to emergency calls on Oregon's 11,239-foot Mt. Hood.

I was really confused and read your statement in bold 3 times trying to figure out what Oregon and Arkansas had in common, till I finally slapped my forehead and said, "Oh... Adventure Racing! Got it!"
