I'm looking for a couple of teammates for the Sylamore Hardcore the last weekend of August. This a 100 mile race with a 30 hour cut off. It would be best if you have at least a 50 mile race under your belt. I have done 5 races in the 50-60 mile range and one 100 mile mountain bike race. I have never not finished a race and that will be the main goal besides having a good time. You can private message me back or throw some comments back up on the board. Here is a link to the race.

Packed in and hunted this area a few years ago. Did not realize AR had that much vast country. Didn't see another person for five days. Beautiful place, very unforgiving though, will make you realize how out of shape you are.

When I was a kid I lived in Eastern Montana. During the summer my dad would take us camping up in the Canadian Rockies. I guess it's where I first fell in love with the outdoors. My wife and I plan on getting to Banff (sp) in a couple of years but first we are planning a trip to Alaska next summer.
Right now I have about 5 adventure races planned between now and January in Arkansas, Missouri and Georgia. I will also probably do a triathlon and hopefully a half marathon this year.
When is your next race?

I have no Idea when my next Adventure race, or any race for that matter will be. I'm looking into finding another triathlon before the snow comes back.
If your game for it, I'd love to make a 2 or 3 year date to doing the death race together.
And btw - you did spell banff right.

That might work as part of a vacation up there.

EDIT - I just signed up for my second triathlon. This one is an open water swim(750m) 29km bike, 5 km run.
