Can't say I'm not interested. What level do you think you will compete at? I am not as strong as I would like to be two weeks before the race but I believe I could finish it.

When my team dropped out a few weeks ago I pretty much quit training (yeah, I'm that stupid) but I would be willing to work hard for the next week or so.

I'm heading over to Pinnacle this morning to do a quick run. e-mail me direct at

I sent Jed an e-mail and I'll call him this afternoon. After writing you this morning I did pinnacle around the base and up east summit and down west summit in less than 44 minutes, a personal best. I'm still feeling good so I'm about to head out for a bike ride, from Bikeseller.com to cantrell (up the hill), outlook and than a spin around Allsop. I'm feeling really good.

About 11:30 tomorrow, I'm going out to Camp to "bank some pain" if you wanna go. Probably 30 of singletrack and hill repeats. Just let me know.

I've got a job interview in the morning but I should be able to make it. Why don't I meet you at the parking area at camp at 11:30. If I'm not there go without me. I'm going to do a 5 mile run early in the morning so this might be a nice complete for my workout.

That's cool. Let's say noon instead, just to give a cushion.
