Multi-Sport Racing Triathalons and Adventure Racing have been sweeping the nation at a phenomenal rate. Multi-Sport Racing is one of the few sports where just completing a race is often considered a victory. Learn all about this sport, post photos, meet potential teammates or brag about your performance in a race.

JP, are you doing this one? Looks like fun. If you collapse and die on the side of the road, at least the vultures will pick your carcass clean pretty quicky.

Those mystery events would be pretty scary if I was competing...

I think the mystery events would be scary whether you. Paul, were competing or not.

Thumbs up

Kaiser,
I would love to do a race like this, but this one just happens to be on the same day as Raid the Rock, for which I am already registered.

Great pic... Look at that guy topping that hill! Whoa!

Keep looking for races Kaiser. That is the one way I can get to hang out and ride with you... Doing a race which I can write off the entire thing as long as it is for a team that I am sponsoring (Team JP fitness). Lets do one in Colorado, the desert, British Columbia... You pick the race.

I don't think I am good enough to hang with you JP. If the run is more than a few miles, it isn't great for my foot and knees. I think I would do OK on the mtb portion (I should be able to hold my own aerobically anyway). I've only kayaked once, so I know little about that - I did do a lot of canoeing in my youth (Boy Scouts) and got the merit badge. So if the canoe is swamped, I know how to get out, right it, and get back in.

I'll look for next year JP. I don't know that you'd want me doing it with you, but a sprint distance might be fun to try. Thanks for the offer!

PS: The guy climbing the hill - that's got to be one steep hill since he is so far forward I would have thought his back wheel would get no traction. Of course, if it is as steep as it looks, maybe his weight is right over the back wheel!
