Multi-Sport Racing Triathalons and Adventure Racing have been sweeping the nation at a phenomenal rate. Multi-Sport Racing is one of the few sports where just completing a race is often considered a victory. Learn all about this sport, post photos, meet potential teammates or brag about your performance in a race.

I am pretty excited! Starting in September the adventure race season kicks in full force, and there are too many races to choose from!

Does anyone else in here compete in these? I would love to talk training. I am doing a sprint on Sept 6th, and Raid the Rock in October, and hopefully a few other races in between.

JP- what does your training look like right now? What's a typical week in your log look like?

Log book... Uuuh... Er... Yeah, that! Uh, well? Just filling in my log book right now. Yep.

Well, I am putting in a little mileage on my bike, and running the stairs a couple times a week. Waiting for my knee to quit hurting so I can get some running training in. This weekend we need to canoe! That is usually where the biggest gains/losses are made in a race. When you do it badly you really get passed a lot! We were pretty good last year though.

BTW, looks like we got Josh completely HOOKED to mountain biking!

Thumbs up

Did someone say canoe? I've been trying to get my friends out on the water for weeks! I'm starting to get parched from this Arkansas summer! I'm down, just tell me when.

Bastards! All of you! Enjoying your adventure racing and mountain biking and climbing and canoeing while I am stuck here in urban flatland with family responsibilities.
