Default Tri Shorts

I purchased these shorts online and they came in today. http://www.all3sports.com/product_in...tri-short-2009. I was really surprised by the lack of padding. I thought that was the whole idea behind tri shorts. I could have just thrown on regular shorts over my swim shorts and had the same amount of padding, and I would have saved $60. That's my main problem with buying stuff online. I hate not being able to see it in person.

Tri shorts is so you can swim in them too. Ever tried to swim in bike knicks? You don't want all that padding wet.

I also found that I need to rinse my tri shorts after use rather than just letting dry as the chlorine makes the fibres thinner over time. I now don't use my tri shorts for swim training, will use them running, and bike knicks for bike. Save them for a tri.
