Josh - where was this race? When I was down there, I did the Bribie Island Tri, and had a blast. I finished almost dead last on a dilapidated bike, but had a blast. I can vouch that the Aussies are the fastest triathletes in the world, those guys and gals are in a whole other planet. It was unreal to see the speed out there...

Was in Bowen QLD. Fairly little and unknown one from what I gathered. Official results came in today so was good to have a look at the winners speeds.

Bribie Island race would have been awesome.

Have my eyes on a half ironman next august. You think that's enough time? How many more official races should I try to do before that one?

Aussies rock out because of the perfect weather all year round. Wouldn't be anywhere else.
