Thanks! Good luck with your IM training... I'm not sure I'm that ambitious. Well, I should clarify that. I'm QUITE sure I'm NOT that ambitious. I can't even imagine how much time that would take to properly train. But coming across the finish line would be amazing!!

One of the reasons I chose this race as my first Olympic is because it's a few miles from my brother in law's house. That and it's flat and shady!! (And not salt water.)

This one I just did was a pool swim. The NJ State Tri is OW in a lake.

Congrats on catching the bug!
Tip for open water swimming in packs - put your cap on over your goggles - much harder for the goggle straps to come off/get knocked off then.
