Default how often do you lift when training for a tri?

I am sure this has been asked before but I am new to the boards. I am currently training for an Olympic length Tri in beginning of June. I am pretty on board with my training...already reached my running mileage..just working on speed. My training regime right now is 6 days a week but I would like to add lifting in as well. Advice?

I try to get a full body lift in once per week during the season. In the winter, I usually go for 2 - 3 weight training sessions per week. Good luck!

this is my first tri and i have been doing 2-3 days of core strength training/ lifting per week since i started training.

i alternate my workouts so monday wednesday and saturday i do biking and core strengthening/lifting and tuesday, thursday, sunday i do swimming and running. and i build within each week so that the beginning of the week is easier, the middle of the week tends to be interval based workouts and the end of the week are the long endurance workouts. and then each week i do more than the week before. every fourth week i do an easy week and then start a new three week build cycle.

thursdays on that third week are always the really hard challenge days. and fridays are my only rest day.

I've been lifting 2-3 times a week doing NROL.
