Nederland is beautiful. We LOVE it up there, and if we both didn't work so far away, we'd be living there right now. That Canyon is great, I ran it last night.
Here's today's quote, sorry, it's been a crazy week!
"In running, it doesn't matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say, 'I have finished.' There is a lot of satisfaction in that. "
Fred Lebow
Have a great weekend!

The snow was perfect. The views from the the top of both Breck and the Bowls at Vail were unreal.

Glad you had a great trip! It was a beautiful weekend in the hills.
Sorry I haven't been posting here, I've been working on getting stuff together for our house loan, so I've been MIA!!! Later this week I can get back to being here a bit more!

Ah, this is very fitting for what I've been going through lately. I did get a good, dark, run in last night, and hope to again tonight. Hope you are all having a great week!
"My feeling is that any day I am too busy to run is a day that I am too busy. "

I had a really crazy week. We are under contract on our first home, and going through the inspection resolution process. For a first timer, this is nuts. I hope it gets easier the more we do it! Pair that with a few really long work days, and I haven't had time to breath this week. Working out was sparce (54 today though, I'm riding bikes!), but I did have a good run. This is my motivation for this weekend:

Happy Friday!!! Sorry, another busy week on my end, so not as much posting as I'd like to be doing. I love this quote, came in the email yesterday, so I saved it until I could post:
"If you run 100 miles a week, you can eat anything you want-Why? Because (a) you'll burn all the calories you consume, (b) you deserve it, and you'll be injured soon and back on a restricted diet anyway."
Don Kardong
Have a great weekend!

I love that these quotes are all about eating lately. It's great. I hope you all had a great weekend, I got my ass whooped on the bike by my good buddy, but it was fantastic. Here is today's quote:
"I eat whatever the guy who beat me in the last race ate. "
Alex Ratelle, masters runner
