Default My First Tri

Just wanted to say thanks to drew for giving me some tips before my first Tri. I had a blast and did better than I expected.

7th Annual Rockwall Triathlon (2007)

300 Yard swim: 5:16
T1: 2:02
14 mile bike: 42:22
T2: 1:09
2.9 mile run: 22:59

Overall: 1:13:49
9th of 36 in age group which I was very excited about. Now it's time to get ready for the Stonebridge Ranch Tri which has a longer swim.

thanks again,

DK

Hey DK,

Those are great times! Congrats on a successful first Tri. I'll see you at the Stonebridge Ranch Tri at the end of September.

DK is alright in my book. Although, I fear I have lost an MTB riding buddy. He is slipping farther and farther away.

well done on the Tri DK.

Perhaps it is time you two were introduced to the joy (not TERROR!) of Xterra...

MTB will pick back in during the winter hopefully. Though those Xterra look pretty cool. Maybe one day I would give that a try. I'm guessing there is no SS division :p
