That one looks perfect to give it a try. Go for it!

I really don't have to. According to man-code, I still have the option of "thinking about it" unless double- or triple-dog-dared.

We're working up to that. I wouldn't want to breach dare etiquette.

I double-dog dare you, Fish. However, they haven't updated that site in awhile. The date on the homepage says September 23, 2006. You sure it's still on for this year?

It's sixth annual, so I'm fairly certain it's on...if not, I'll try to tri at that time...just thought it might be fun, in a scraped knee kind of way...

For anyone else looking for an adventure race check out this calendar:

ExtremeTrek Calendar

The first two letters are the state. Sorry, most of them are in the South Central US. I just can't keep up with all of them. If you are looking for one close to you let me know. I have ninja like skills for finding these things (plus a strong network of friends that help!)

I'm in NC for school but my family still lives up in PA, just outside West Chester specifically. If you're looking for local people to train together and such I understand.

West Chester is awesome--I love that town.

There are a couple of people from church who have said they were thinking about doing it...not sure if they're for real or not. I was going to do it last year, but decided to get cancer and get run over on my bike by a pickup instead.

I have had a few races where I thought that was what happened to me. The biggest difference is that you get over it and want to do it again.
