Today was cold!
Had my first sub-zero swim in a while today. It was 3 below out when I jumped in the pool, and the water temp was a frigid 81 degrees (felt like 4 degrees). About 100m in, I could feel my manhood simultaneously swelling due to the manly nature of swimming in sub-zero temps, and shrinking due to the fact that I was swimming in sub-zero temps.
Now the weird part was that about 400m in, I looked in the lanes next to me (underwater, since there is too much steam coming off the pool to see anything abover water), and saw about 3 other nut jobs swimming too. I live in a town full of crazies!
The funniest part of swimming is seeing how fast people run from the pool to get their towels and then into the locker rooms. LIGHTNING FAST!!

Fish, are you on some kind of groin e-mail list? How do you find this stuff, not that I need to find it.

OT - but I just read in the paper that Steamboat is up to $79/day for a lift ticket. I used to ski that hill for 20 bucks. Damn it's gotten expensive.

How about Winter Park or A-Basin for $12? I used to debate if I could afford that!
