I'm so excited for Kona.
I bet my girlfriend a dollar that Faris al-Sultan repeats, and she picked Macca. I wouldn't mind seeing either win, but my dark horse is Cam Widoff. He's looking really really good...

Normann Stadler is really putting the hurt on out there today! Al-Sultan and Macca are hanging in there though, and both are very good runners. I'd keep my money on Faris at this point!
Michele Jones is riding away with this one too. It was really cool to see Heather Gollnick up in the top 10 for a bit, but she's still top 15. Awesome!
Peter Reid was on a surfboard leading the age groupers out in the swim today. Great to see such an influencial triathlete out there giving his time. He's world class.

Stadler never gave in. What a freaking race he had, setting the course record on the bike. And Macca runs a 2:46 marathon, WOW! He almost caught him. What a great race!

I'm stoked for Michelie Jones too. She finally won hers. And the 76 year old nun who finished yet again. If a 76 year old nun can do it, so can I dammit!
