Congrats, Lisa!!! And Joe, too!! It sounds like a great day minus the rowing, although I am sure you have a great sense of accomplishment from grinding through that portion of the race.

Yup, I feel good being able to say I did it. I really want that paddle section to be better next year so...
I've also already promised that in spite of my lack of swimming know how- it can't be much worse than that almost 3 hours of paddline so I'm going to try a "regular" sprint tri next year. Since we haven't really had the time or money for adventure racing lately, this is a good alternative...plus it means I can do it MYSELF! I like that part.
You guys are so cool.
