Default I met Dave Scott today...

...and it was freaking amazing. My landlord is the Director of the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, and coaches olympic cross country skiers. Dave's sons both do nordic skiing, and so there's the background.

Todd (my landlord) calls last night and says, "Hey, TDave Scott is coming up here tomorrow to talk with my coaches about how to train endurance athletes, and endurance nutrition (which I MISSED!!!!!), you want to come?"

Um, F*cking DUH!

He was amazing, and super nice. There were 9 of us there, and we chatted for about 3 hours about training, intervals, and the basic set up of a good endurance plan, be it skiing, snow shoeing, or triathlon. He talked to me for a while about my race yesterday, and actually seemed to care, which was even cooler.

It was a great morning, and I'm going to try to pull my notes and put something together to show you guys how brilliant this man really is. It was a fantastic day.

No, but if you'd give it to me! That would be kind of weird, stalkerish if I had it already.

Yeah, as much as I can get into laymen's terms. I don't want to put his stuff out there word for word, but I'll summarize what I can when I get a chance!
