You may be adding these two, but in September there is the Booger County Extreme in Huntsville AR on the 16th and the next weekend is the Berryman up in MO.

Thanks - I just hadn't gotten to those months yet. I've done the Berryman before and I'd like to do Booger County but it might have to wait until next year. I have a tri I do every year the day after that one.

Do you know of any in CT, MA, NH, or ME?
I love adventure races... they're a blast.
Thank you!

I'll check it out and post them on my site above. If you hear of any that I haven't posted let me know. That goes for tris, bike races, running, clinics, etc.

Cassandra - I found one in NH on the 16th of September and one in VT on the 6th of October. Those were USARA sanctioned. I'll keep checking for more. Information is on the calendar at my website. www.ExtremeTrek.com

I'm just getting into adventure racing myself. My friend just did one in VT (the west dover 12 hour) and all his talk about it has got me hooked. Here's a good link for New England races.

Anybody know of any in PA (that's where I am now).

I was going to post that one today - I'll still get it on there. I think I tried to talk FishrCutb8 into that one a year or two ago.

So when's the first JPF member get-together for an Adventure Race?? We've been shooting around the idea of finding a roadrace that JPF members could all run, but I imagine many of the runners (all 7 or 8 of us) would be interested in one of these. I know I would!

We had something close to it at the last summit. Maybe we can work out something for the next summit. Maybe come up with our own sprint adventure race.

That sounds good. Maybe run up Pinnacle Mountain and back down, bicycle to West Memphis and back, and then row down to Pine Bluff and back!
