Multi-Sport RacingTriathalons and Adventure Racing have been sweeping the nation at a phenomenal rate. Multi-Sport Racing is one of the few sports where just completing a race is often considered a victory. Learn all about this sport, post photos, meet potential teammates or brag about your performance in a race.
Right now, it's ass. But only has been ass for about a week. I'll do a little this week and get back on full swing next week.
Otherwise things are going pretty well. Once the snow melts a bit/goes away I'll log some time on the bike riding to work.
I know I can swim the 500m and bike the 16km and run the 3km.....I am pretty convinced I can swim the 500 and bike the 16km. I am less convinced I can bike the 16km and then run the 3km
I blieve I am on track for my may date still. Providing the race dosen't fill up before I can register. Money has become tight tight tight. Getting a bunch of dental work done. good times.
I hear that. My best advice is, if you are worried about the bike and run, make sure you add some good brick training to your routine. Even if you only ride like 10km and run 1 or 2, that transition is tough!
Glad to hear you're still on pace. I keep forgetting that there is snow there now, I'm in for a rude awakening here in a few weeks.
Such is life. Always how it works out! Keep me up to date man, I'd love to see how it goes. Give me 2 weeks, and I'm hopefully going to start a training log on here for my Half Ironman this summer. Ah boy, summer is a comin!
I can't wait for the summer. I lack motivation at this time. I half wanted to go for a run last night, but the aspect of finding a non-icy area made me go to sleep instead.
I have saturday mostly to myself, so I plan on getting a run in down by the river. The MUP down there should be cool.
What tri are you doing Nick? What is the distance and date? I'm excited to see how you do training, it's a cool feeling getting into it after your first race.
I'm stoked that so many people on here are having a go at tris. Joe and Fish must be so proud
