Question

Is it OK to weight train the same day as yoga class?

Or better to separate...such as weights AM, yoga PM, or vice versa. OR weights one day and yoga the next?

Thanks

If you must do yoga, do your weights before.

Yoga's prolonged holds will reduce your ability to produce force and reduce the rate of force development of the muscle-tendon complex in the which can make your joints less stable and more injury prone. For females this is a bigger issue than in males as females, as a group, have less stable joints than males. The more you can separate the two, the better.
