Default Weight Loss Using Body/Mind Connection

Weight Loss Using Body/Mind Connection

If you wanna start up a very successful business $$$, the two biggest business's in the world are:
  1. Weight Loss
  2. Making money quickly
Now I can't help you with money but I do have some interesting info on weight loss that I'm going to share you.

Your weight is controlled by your thoughts. If any one has herd of affirmations these are the things that are keeping your weight where it is. (Skinny or overweight whatever it is?) It actually comes down to self worth.

People find it difficult to understand that when you criticize your self it is impossible to change. So they just make their ugly thoughts more concrete. Because they have not been shown the right way to think.

I am obese and I want to lose that extra weight. I am so tired of being over weight and the sad part I never use to be. I was being harassed by my boss and I looked in the mirror one day and hated what I saw and I have tried everything to lose this weight and nothing. I am very depressed and sad all of the time.
Self worth and self acceptance are so important. It is ironic that the moment you can accept yourself as you are, you can easily change your self and become something different. So long as you dislike yourself it is difficult to change, for it is self acceptance at the deepest levels which frees us to move on and change.

The human brain has two sections the conscious mind 12% and the subconscious mind 88%. The subconscious main job is to keep all habits in the body going, day in & day out. Going back to affirmations whether you believe in them or not I assure you that they are working in your life 24/7.

If you were to say or even think of the statement - I HATE HOW I LOOK or I AM OBESE or I"LL NEVER LOSE WEIGHT it only takes around 2 to 5 minutes a day (repeating) saying or even just thinking these lines over a 21 day period for these thoughts to slip past the conscious mind and into the subconscious mind.

Once you can get a thought or belief into the subconscious, this all mighty powerful part of the mind will bring your statement into reality, and thus it makes sure you are obese or it makes sure that you hate yourself or it will make sure you will never lose weight.

2 good books I'd recommend is YOU CAN HEAL YOUR LIFE, By Louise Hay and
THE ONLY DIET THERE IS by Sondra Ray.

Both of these Ladies attack the weight problem from the mind not the stomach.

Smoking is 30% body addiction and 70% mind addiction

Drinking is 30% body addiction and 70% mind addiction

Over or under weight is exactly the same 30:70.

It says in Louise Hays book that once she taught people to except them selves as they are, she found that the weight just fell of them.

Sondra Ray says something similar and that it's got something to do with guilt, hate and forgiveness?

If my stats here are a little bit inaccurate, I would love it if you could correct me?
  • I accept myself exactly as I am
  • I approve of myself
All the best...

Some interesting stats. I've been very interested recently in the mental/behavioral aspects of fitness and weight loss. I wrote a couple of small articles for my website addressing this topic:
Storm Clouds on the Horizon
An Interview With a Newly Diagnosed Diabetic

I'm also currently about half way through the Wellcoaches program and I have learned a lot of great techniques for addressing the this side of the fitness world. Helping people to better understand their goals and internal motivations is a very powerful tool for success.

My guess is most peoples health priorities are always 2nd or 3rd on the list never first. It's right what you say on your website that no one worry's about their heath until a doctor looks them in their eye and says you may die?

This in the only motivator that moves people into looking at their health a little deeper. (FEAR)

I would agree that it is rarely ever first, I guess what I really meant was that it was not near the top of his list. I would say that if health is in the top 3 or 4 on a person's daily priorities then it is pretty important to them. That's a great observation and something that I will definetly reword in my article. Thanks Jason.
