Default Kicks to solar plexus and rib, versus knees and shins

Well how bout it, is a side kick in the ribs going to end the fight? what about a front kick in the solar plexus? will it end the fight?

i think a knee in those places is definite, but my question is

why dont they side kick in the ribs in the mma instead of shinning in the hamstrings and legs

is kicking the ribs or solarplexus etc.. allowed with the heel or ball of the foot?

how come i never see it??? is there anything stronger than a side kick? other than a knee

It's aloud. There's just a risk of having your leg\foot grabbed, or if you miss then it puts in in an awkward situation.

Have you ever been hit by a round kick with the shin? If you have you'd know the answer as to why people use it.

ok then. whats the best way to train shins?

and how many years until the roundhouse shin kick is 95% effective

no no no. You've gotta kick a banana tree to get 95% effective. At least 300 times a day. And find and old Thai man to rig you up between trees with ropes to work on flexibility.
